Rapid45 by Platinum Tools Crimp Tool PN 2100C
The Rapid45 Crimp Tool is designed to perform all the steps needed to terminate category cable in one compact, lightweight tool. Cavities in the end of the tool crimp and trim Rapid45 connectors, and crimp standard RJ11/12 connectors,
while a replaceable steel blade in the handle is designed to cut and strip category cable. At only 5.25” (13.3cm) OAL and 11oz. (318g), the Rapid45 is easily carried in a tool pouch or pocket, and an easy push-button lock keeps the handle closed when not in use. The tool’s high-leverage, ergonomic design means little hand force is needed to create successful terminations.
Rapid45 Connectors
The Rapid45 Connector features a patented EZ pass-through design that allows the conductors to pass completely through the connector, making it simple to ensure a proper wiring sequence.
Molded from UL 94V0 fire-rated polycarbonate, the connector is equipped with copper alloy contacts with 50 microns of hard gold plating. Rated for both Cat5e and Cat6 installations, the Rapid45 Connector will accept conductors up to 0.040” (1.02mm) OD and meets all FCC and other major regulatory standards.
