Up for sale is a cleaned/refurbished Epson TFP printhead for the Stylus 7900/9900 series large format printers as well as some other models. The heads were fully cleaned and tested. We guarantee the head for up to 30 days and can provide installation assistance if needed. Please note, this is a bit of a delicate operation, so best attempted by people with decent knowledge of working on printers in the first place. Also, depending on the nature of the head clog, if the lines show signs of clogs (such as 70% or more of a nozzle check coming up blank), they will need to be flushed.
The heads are packed and stored with a light cleaning fluid in them and are guaranteed for up to 30 days. We know these heads can be quite finicky, so we keep spares to swap out, just in case. Head rank codes will be sent in an eBay message on purchase, we highly recommend programming these into your printer for best results as they differ from head to head.
Please note that replacing this printhead isn't as simple as plugging it in and starting it up. You will either need to be experienced with the procedure or willing to communicate. Please note that a 'bad head' can also be a clogged line, leaking line, damper, damaged ink cartridge, dirty wiper or other issues. PLEASE take the effort to troubleshoot beforehand.
